Still fighting for their Premier League lives, Nottingham Forest faces a trip to London on Saturday as they take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Boosted by a dramatic 4:3 win against Southampton on Monday, Steve Cooper´s men arrive in England´s capital now three points clear of the drop zone with just three games remaining in the season.

Chelsea, for their part, finally picked up their first win under Frank Lampard last weekend with a convincing 3:1 at Bournemouth, ending a miserable sequence of six successive losses.

Chelsea have endured one of their worst seasons in a generation, with the London giants currently 11th in the Premier League and only nine points ahead of their relegation-threatened visitors.

Finding themselves some 40 points behind leaders Man City despite an extraordinary summer and January transfer splurge, the Blues have won only six of their last 29 matches in all competitions, while they have managed just one win in their previous eight PL games at Stamford Bridge.

However, despite Chelsea´s miserable form at home, it´s hard to have much confidence in Forest picking up points with the visitors losing each of their last seven away PL games. In fact, Cooper´s side have now lost 13 and won only one of 17 away PL matches this season. Just six of the 33 points accrued in the PL have been won on their travels. 

Still, Forest did manage to score in each of their last four away PL losses and knowing a win could be enough to all but secure PL survival, we expect the visitors to give everything in search of a rare road victory.

With Chelsea so poor at home but potentially lifted by their win at Bournemouth, the hosts will probably see this as a good chance to get back to winning ways at the Bridge. However, we expect goals at both ends as Forest will also arrive with confidence following their massive victory against Southampton on Monday.
