Chelsea vs Manchester City prediction 12.11.2023

Chelsea are coming to this season after one of the worst ones in the club's history and surely the worst one in the 21st century. The Blues finished 12th with 44 points, much closer to the relegation spot than the European spots. Over the Summer, they made significant changes, but little has changed. The Blues are 10th with 15 points, already seven points away from European spots. Chelsea have a really young perspective team, but it seems they are still not ready to be among the top five or six teams in England. 

Unlike Chelsea, which had a terrible season, Manchester had one of the best seasons ever, winning a treble - the Champions League, Premier League, and the FA Cup. This season, they are once again looking like one of the favorites to win not only the domestic league title but the Champions League title as well. At the moment, they are at the top of the Premier League and also qualified for the next phase of the Champions League by winning all four games so far. 

Chelsea vs Man City pick: Man City to win

Chelsea are too inconsistent this season - they win two or three games and then lose a couple of games. They have a talented team that should be good in a couple of years, but at this point, we think are simply not experienced enough to compete with the best teams in England. At Stamford Bridge, the Blues struggled, winning only one game in six rounds.

Manchester City are on an excellent winning streak. They won five in a row in all competitions with a dominant 17:3 goal difference. 

Lately, Manchester City simply dominated Chelsea in h2h games, winning six in a row. More impressively, the Citizens haven't allowed a single goal in those six h2h games! Considering the previous h2h games and City's great form, we think the Citizens should walk away from Stamford Bridge with all three points.
