Graham Potter's Brighton have taken a step higher from last season's impressive performances, as they sit among the top four after 5 games played. The seagulls are playing some really good attacking football, which is troubling some of the top sides too, as they hardly put in sub-par efforts every game. The Fulham game this past week was an exception though as they ended their 4-game unbeaten run to lose by a 2-1 margin. On Sunday, they take on a fallen giant. Leicester City are facing pressure as relegation candidates at the moment as Brendan Rodgers' side has lost 4 of the 5 games played and are without a single win since the season started. The Foxes also have the joint second-worst defensive record in the league with 11 goals conceded already.

Brighton vs Leicester City Betting Tips: Brighton to win

Leicester were once top four candidates just a year ago, but an ageing squad and repetitive tactics have led to their downfall. But despite the past dominance, they have never been able to successfully decode Graham Potter's seagulls. Brighton have always made life difficult for the Foxes, and that is evident in no clean sheets seen by either side in 4 of the last 5 meetings. Talking from a non-statistical point of view, there seems no way that Leicester take any point away from the American Express Community Stadium on Sunday - Brighton have played tremendously well since the season has begun. Our prediction will be a plain vanilla bet on Brighton winning this game by 2 goals to one. One can even go for an ACCA of a home win and over 2.5 goals being scored here.

Brighton & Hove Albion Team News

Graham Potter is surely not missing the presence of ex-Liverpool starlet Adam Lallana. Pascal Gros and Leandro Trossard have not only taken the club, but the league by storm as they continue to put in better performances than some star strikers from the English elites. Along with Lallana, Jakub Moder will also be out from this game due to injury, but Brighton can compensate easily with a replacement. Along with Gros, one player who has been highly impressive from a defensive point of view is Moises Caicedo. The midfielder has been the first layer of defence for the opponents, before the pressure moves to the backline. Caicedo has made an average of 1.8 interceptions every game, 0.4 more than any other player from his camp. Gros, Trossard and Caicedo will be our three players to watch.

Leicester City Team News

Ricardo Pereira and Ryan Bertrand, both being unavailable for selection due to injury, means that Leicester are really suffering in the full-back positions. James Justin has been playing as the left-back which is not his first-choice preference. Further, the terrific trio of Jamie Vardy, James Maddison and Harvey Barnes has not been at their very best, with Maddison at least contributing to some goals through his set-piece attributes. The Foxes have also just lost their best defender to Chelsea in the form of Wesley Fofana. After Fofana (4.5) none of the defenders have averaged even close to 2.0 interceptions every game for the relegation-placed side. James Justin and James Maddison will thus be our two players to keep an eye on.
