  • Competition: World Cup
  • Date: Thursday, 24th November 2022
  • Kickoff: 19:00 UK/20:00 UK
  • Venue: Lusail Iconic Stadium

Brazil are the only football team that never missed World Cup. Also, they are the only ones with five titles so far. During Qatar 2022 qualification campaign, Tite's team had amazing 14 wins and three draws. Brazil were on the Far East tour in the last two matches, where they won 5-1 against South Korea and 1-0 vs Japan.

Brazil are probably the best-attacking team in the World at the moment. They scored 18 goals in the last five matches. Four of those five games went over 2.5 goals.

Serbia surprisingly won in Portugal during the qualifications and clinched another World Cup appearance. Their last matches were UEFA Nations League, where Dragan Stojkovic's team won seven points from four matches. In the previous game, Serbia played 2-2 against Slovenia.

Serbia should be excellent in attack. They scored seven goals in the last three matches. On the other hand, Serbia had some defensive issues, so they allowed two goals against mediocre Slovenia, for example.

Both teams have powerful attacks, so over 2.5 goals should be the best option for this match.

Brazil Team News

Brazil should be the biggest favorite to win the World Cup title in Qatar. Their attacking trio Vinicius Neymar - Gabriel Jesus - Vinicius Junior, will be a big treat to any defense in Qatar. On the other hand, Liverpool goalkeeper with PSG and Real Madrid's center-backs Marquinhos and Eder Militao should be the foundation of the Brazilian defense. Brazil are the weakest at right and left back positions, but overall, they are still the best team in the World.

Serbia Team News

Serbia improved dramatically since Dragan Stojkovic was appointed as head coach. The leader and captain of the team is Dusan Tadic, one of the best Ajax players in recent years. Also, an important role should have Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (Lazio), Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus), and Aleksandar Mitrovic (Fulham). Serbian weakest part of the squad, if for sure, defense, where they have only one class player, Nikola Milenkovic (Fiorentina). Still, Serbians should be good enough to compete with Switzerland and Cameroon for second place in the group behind too good Brazilian squad.
