Three points behind Slavia, Arda must win and hope that their Sofian revivals lose in their final league match against PFC Lokomotiv Sofia 1929. Unlikely as that turnaround may seem, Arda will want to finish the season on a high, and they arrive in Plovdiv having enjoyed a strong end to the campaign. 

Unbeaten in each of their last nine league matches, Arda have picked up victories in four of their last five First League games while they also remain unbeaten in each of their last five away from home (W2, D3). Still, despite a late uptick in form, the visitors must rely on favours elsewhere if they are to have any chance of Europa Conference League qualification.

While Arda have been building up a head of steam in the latter part of the campaign, Botev have been heading in the opposite direction. Failing to win any of their previous five home league fixtures (L3, D2), Botev did claim a victory on their travels last weekend, with that success only their second victory in 13 previous league fixtures.

Recent meetings between these sides have also favoured Arda, with the visitors claiming the spoils in six of eight previous meetings, including each of the last three. Arda scored a fine 2:0 win on their last visit to this venue, and considering recent form, a similar outcome seems likely on Tuesday.

With that in mind, we´re backing Arda to return home with all three points, although whether it will be enough to overhaul Slavia Sofia, remains to be seen.
