Blackpool will welcome Queens Park Rangers in a duel between teams from the lower part of the league. Blackpool are in 22nd place with six points away from the safe zone, and this is one of the games where they have to win points.

Blackpool are not in good form overall, but they were on the road in three of the last four games. At home, Blackpool are playing significantly better and are on a six-game unbeaten run, including a 4:1 win over Nottingham Forest in the FA Cup.

In their eighth consecutive season in the Championship, Queens Park Rangers aren't making any progress towards returning to Premier League. This season, QPR are 19th with ten points above the relegation zone.

In the last match, they finally broke a 13-game winless streak with a 1:0 over Watford. Still, their road form is among the worst in the league, with only two points in the last five road games. In those five games, they allowed 13 goals.

Blackpool vs Queens Park Rangers pick: Blackpool AH (0) win

Both teams are in bad form, with only one win in the previous 11 (Blackpool) and 14 games (QPR). Still, Blackpool played well in home games recently and haven't lost during the last six games. In the previous three home games, Blackpool kept a clean sheet. QPR struggled in recent road games and are without a win in the previous seven matches. In the last two games, they lost to Rotherham and Middlesbrough by allowing three goals in both of those games.

Blackpool won the first h2h game of the season with a 1:0 on the road.

Head coach Mick McCarty was disappointed with the team's performance in a 2:0 loss against Bristol City. It was the worst performance he has seen since joining Blackpool, and he expects a much better performance in the future.

Striker Gary Madine twisted his knee after just five minutes in the Bristol game and will not play.

Blackpool already have several injured players who will miss the game: Marvin Ekpieta, Charlie Goode, Tom Trybull, Shayne Lavery, Liam Bridcutt, Jake Beesley, and Keshi Anderson.
