Belarus vs Andorra prediction 18.11.2023

On Saturday afternoon, two teams from the bottom of group I of the EURO 2024 Qualifiers will face off on a neutral pitch at Szusza Ferenc Stadion in Budapest.

After finishing last in Group 3 of the UEFA Nations League C, Belarus will play against Lithuania in the relegation playout to avoid relegation to League D. Still, to be fair, it was a tough group with Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Slovakia. In these EURO Qualifiers, they were far from impressive but had some good moments, especially in recent games, and could easily have three or four points more. Right now, Belarus are 5th with six points in eight rounds, and considering there are just two rounds left, they have no chance of securing the EURO.

Andorra are one of the weakest teams in Europe. They are currently 155th on the FIFA World Ranking and 51st in Europe (out of 55 teams). Only San Marino, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, and Malta are below them. They are the worst team in the group in these Qualifiers, winning only two points out of eight games, but that is hardly a surprise for anyone. 

Belarus vs Andorra pick: Belarus to win and cover the -1 AH spread

Belarus had a rough start to the Qualifiers, but lately, they have been very good, losing only once in the last five matches. Their previous game, on the road vs Switzerland, was particularly impressive as they drew 3:3. Belarus could easily win all three points there since they had a 3:1 lead just a few minutes before the end of the game. 

Andorra lost six of eight matches and scored only two goals. Unlike Belarus, which seems to be improving as the competition progresses, Andorra are in totally opposite momentum. We can't say they were good in the first part of the Qualifiers by any means, but in the last three games, they lost all matches with a 10:0 goal difference.

The previous h2h game in Andorra proved to us that Belarus are a much better team. The game finished at 0:0, but Belarus undoubtedly deserved all three points. Even though Belarus plays their home games in Budapest, it is an advantage compared to the previous h2h game. Considering the previous h2h game and a massive difference in form, we think Belarus should secure a comfortable win.
