Everything is more-less already known in the Italian championship! However, there are still a few questions that we haven't got an answer to. The match between Roma and Spezia is one of the most interesting on the last day of the season in Serie A, and from it we will open two cards and find out the fate of the clubs.
Roma will try to save position number five with a victory on Sunday, while the club from Liguria is desperately looking for rescue points, because they are in a very awkward situation with only one point more than Hellas Verona, which is the first under the line.
AS Roma vs Spezia Betting Tips: Team1 to Win
Since arriving in Serie A, Spezia has become a regular and favorite customer of AS Roma. So far, they have measured their strength five times. Only one duel ended without a winner, while the other four went in the hands of the Giallorossi, including the first during the current season in which they celebrated without any problems with 2-0.
However, Mourinho's chosen ones are playing unrecognizably poorly at the moment when it matters most. A 1-0 victory over Bayer Leverkusen in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semi-final, brought by the anonymous Edoardo Bove, is Roma's only success in the previous 10 games in all competitions - with D5 and L3.
From that triumph, everything went upside down for the Roman club. They have not known a victory for already five games. After three draws in a row, two defeats followed, one of which is very painful and fresh. Namely, Roma lost the final of the UEFA Europa League to Spanish Sevilla in mid-week after a penalty roulette - 1-1 (1-4).
The terrible form, disappointment and fatigue should be put aside by the Giallorossi, as they decide their fate for the next season on Sunday. Will they secure the group stage of the UEFA Europa League or will they suffer another blow and play the qualifiers for the weakest competition in UEFA - the Conference League.
If it's up to Roma for consolation, their opponent is also in a deep channel and what's worse, they can't see a way out of the crisis. Instead of Spezia taking advantage of Verona's stumbling (1-1 draw with Empoli), they suffered a serious slap to Torino (0-4) - against a team that has no competitive ambitions in the finale season.
It was the fourth failure from the previous six Serie A appearances for the club from Liguria. There is no doubt that they are burning under their feet, because they are only a point above the danger zone. By the way, Spezia is especially worried about their away record, since their last victory on the side dates back to mid-January.
To make the problem even bigger, the Aquilotti have failed to find the back of the net in three of their previous four league challenges. Roma may host Spezia with a bitter taste in their mouths because of their lost trophy, but there is no doubt they will be desperate to keep their fifth position. Therefore, a win for the Giallorossi is our bet!

AS Roma team news
Temperamental Portuguese strategist Jose Mourinho will watch the match against Spezia from the stands, bearing in mind that he is suspended for the last match of the season. This means that his assistant Salvatore Foti will lead Roma on Sunday.
Otherwise, the personnel situation in the Roman club is quite good. Roma, apart from the long-absent Marash Kumbulla who is recovering from a serious ACL injury, will have a complete squad at his disposal.

Spezia team news
Left-back Joao Moutinho has managed just 58 minutes in Serie A since joining from Orlando City in the winter transfer window. He played his last match against Bologna on January 21, when he suffered a serious foot injury, for which he had to go under the knife.
The 29-year-old defender Mattia Caldara has had problems with his ankle lately. He has been an unused substitute in five of the last six games and it is difficult to expect him to appear at the closing of the season 22/23.
