After a disappointing loss in the World Cup qualifications playoff against Cameroon, Algeria, one of the best African team, are preparing for another African Cup of Nations qualification. Since the painful loss against Cameroon, Algeria had two friendly matches against Togo, but in both games, they played without their best players. Still, they recorded a win (1-0) and a draw (0-0) in those matches.

The most notable miss from the Algerian squad is the absence of Riyad Mahrez, Manchester City star. But, he is not the only one who will not play matches for the national team this June.
