Two points clear at the top of Serie A with just two games remaining, Milan can take a giant step towards a first Scudetto in a decade when they take on Atalanta at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday evening.

Requiring just four points from their remaining fixtures, Milan are now big favourites to claim the title but with an away match at an always dangerous Sassuolo side still to come, the league leaders should take nothing for granted on Sunday as they take on an Atalanta side more than capable of taking points from this fixture.

Indeed, while Atalanta continues to struggle for home form, they have been a far stronger side on the road this season having lost only 3 of their last 24 away matches. It should be noted though that those 3 losses have occurred in recent weeks at Fiorentina, Roma and Sassuolo. 

Still, the Bergamo-based side have an excellent record against Milan at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza having taken a point or better in each of their last 7 visits to this venue. Milan have won both of their last 2 matches on the road against Atalanta but will be very much aware of their opponents' success in Milan in recent years.

Milan have been strong at home in recent weeks, particularly in defence with clean sheets kept in 6 of their last 7 at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza however they dropped points in 3 of those matches and with the pressure on, it remains to be seen if they can end their home hoodoo against La Dea.
