Athletic vs Real Madrid Prediction, Betting Tips and Preview

In the last match of Saturday Athletic Bilbao will host Real Madrid at the San Mamés Stadium. This clash is sure to provide lots of excitement and betting opportunities to all the football fans.

Athletic Bilbao are placed sixteenth at the table and are playing well below their standards. They have accumulated thirteen points from the first thirteen games this season. Their last La Liga win was mid-October and since then they are on a five-game winless streak, something we haven’t seen from them in a long time. In the previous match, the drew against Deportivo La Coruna. The final score was 2-2. Susaeta and Williams scored for Bilbao and on the other side, Adrian and Schar scored one goal each.

Real Madrid are placed fourth at the table. They have gotten seven wins, three draws, and two losses so far in the season. Despite being in the top four it still feels like they aren’t playing at their last year’s level. Their form is increasing but the team has its ups and down. They showed just hat last week when they barely managed to defeat Malaga by the score of 3-2. Malaga put up a heavy resistance against the current champs of Spain and Europe. Benzema, Casemiro, and Ronaldo were the goal scorers for Real and on the other side, Rolan and Castro managed to soften the loss.

When it comes to the previous meeting between the two sides, Real Marid were the better team, as one would expect. Out of the last six games that they’ve played the boys from Madrid have won five and Athletic Bilbao have won two. Things don’t look any different when Bilbao are the host, Real are still the better team. They’ve won five of the last seven matches at the San Mamés Stadium.
