Arsenal vs Leicester City Betting Tips
If you asked neutrals before last weekend, most would have said Arsenal would struggle and probably lose away at Wolves.
It’s why the Gunners treated everyone to a pleasant surprise on Saturday evening, as goals from Bukayo Saka and Alexandre Lacazette off the bench helped them to an important win against Wolves – who remain narrowly above them in sixth.
Their tricky fixture schedule doesn’t relent either: entertaining third-placed Leicester in an even more difficult test. Arteta’s side face six tough games in less than three weeks between now and July 26, which will be interesting.
Brendan Rodgers’ side will be keen to reaffirm their standing as the division’s third-best team in midweek, after their 3-0 win over Crystal Palace on the weekend.
Jamie Vardy’s second-half brace took him past the 100 Premier League goal tally, while there was also one for Kelechi Iheanacho. It was ultimately a comfortable victory and ended the Foxes’ four-game winless streak, dating back to March.
Since then, Chelsea and fifth-placed Manchester United have been lurking dangerously behind them – only three points separate the trio now. With five games still to play, there’s plenty to compete for, though Tuesday’s visitors have injury doubts to consider.
James Maddison (groin), Ben Chilwell (achilles) and Ayoze Perez (ankle) are all carrying knocks – it’s unlikely Rodgers will risk them. That could prove a significant blow to their chances of winning, given their importance across various areas of the pitch.
Arsenal vs Leicester City Correct Score Predictions
Leicester have fond memories in recent times against Arsenal, having won each of their last two H2H meetings.
However, they’ve struggled to maintain those high standards when in north London and their away form is an interesting subplot. Their injury doubts are also concerning, in an intriguing battle between sides who cannot afford to lose.
