Arsenal vs Everton: Team news

Arsenal manager Unai Emery will be hoping summer signing Lucas Torreira who was injured in the match against Vorskla Poltava will be fit for the Everton clash. The Uruguayan is yet to get his first EPL start but has been knocking on the door for a start shirt.

"I think it was better [for Lucas] to leave the match." Emery said in his post-match press conference following Arsenal's win against Vorskla.

"I hope that [Friday] and Saturday, he will be okay [to train] for Sunday."

Aside Torreira, Henrikh Mkhitaryan who also played against Vorskla Poltava last night is also likely to miss the match against Everton. Arsenal will be without Laurent Koscielny who has been out since the tail end of last season. The Frenchman is expected back to the team in November. Arsenal are also going to be without Sead Kolasinac, Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Carl Jenkinson who are all long term absentees due to one injury to the other.

Everton on their own are going to be welcoming back their top scorer so far this season Richarlison. The Brazilian who was red carded in the match against Bournemouth. The Brazilian who has been Everton's best player so far this season is very likely to cause Arsenal's defense a lot of problems.

Speaking on the return of the Brazilian, Everton manager Marco Silva said: "He's an important player for us. He started very well and scored important goals for us. It's very important for us that he's back."

Arsenal are clear favourites to win the match according to various bookies including sky bet ( who has them at 10/1 to win by as much as 3-0 ).
