Arsenal vs Man City Match Preview

Arsenal and Manchester City meet at The Emirates on Saturday when both teams will seek to back into life after terrible starts in Premier League. Their latest match Arsenal won with 3:0, but now both teams have trouble in form. Arsenal played 1:1 while Man City lost by 1:0 at home in the latest round of Premier League.

Can Arsenal win again. Gunners boss Arsene Wenger will hope that is a sign of things to come, with Welbeck poised to get a long run in his desired central position due to the long-term injury to Olivier Giroud. Arsenal have a big problem in midfield because key midfielder Aaron Ramsey has eased fears over his fitness after hurting his ankle while playing for Wales, but is still a major doubt for the home side. Theo Walcott is still weeks away from returning to first-team contention, while Kieran Gibbs has been out of the team with injury. But they have great players who can score like Mesut Ozil, Santi Cazorla and Alexis Sanchez.

Danny Welbeck said:"At Arsenal, we're not short of combination football and I like to join in on that and get in behind defenders and try to get shots off at goal. I want to score some goals and help the team to achieve the right results." He scored both goals in England's opening Euro 2016 qualifying campaign victory over Switzerland on Monday.

On the other side Sergio Aguero still being eased back into action following his own fitness problems. Edin Dzeko are likely to play up front in his absence, while Fernandinho could reprise his midfield partnership with Yaya Toure after summer signing Fernando limped off against the Potters. Their in-form forward Stevan Jovetic, who scored two goals against Liverpool, is struggling with a hamstring injury.

About this match Edin Dzeko said:"It will be difficult, but I'm an optimist". Manuel Pellegrini said they lacked a creative spark when they slipped to a surprise 1-0 home defeat by Stoke City last time out.

Arsenal have won 52 of their 86 home league games against Manchester City, while City have only lost three of their last twelve games against Arsenal in all competitions. Manchester City have not lost two consecutive league games since October 2010, while Arsenal have not lost a home league game since the opening day of last season. Well, this will be a great match definitely.
